Above all, the MEMORIA group is a story about friendship among Corsican singing enthusiasts, originally from Bastia and Corsica’s Eastern Plain. From a young age, these artists cultivated a deep love for their island’s music, and pay tribute to it through authentic and vibrant performances.
With a repertoire blending major classics from traditional Corsican singing and popular music, MEMORIA revisits these timeless melodies combining powerful vocals with musical diversity, while staying true to the essence and harmony of the singing.
Their unique show, at once illuminating, moving and generous, is a genuine invitation to travel. From stirring rhythms provided though guitars and percussion to unmissable polyphonic a cappella songs. every performance transports the audience to the heart of Corsica’s soul!
