You open your eyes, everything is peaceful, the campsite is still sleeping…you only hear the birdsong and light breeze caressing the leaves in the trees. You make the coffee, a gentle start to the day… Today, you’re heading off to explore the loveliest beaches in southern Corsica, between Bonifacio and Porto-Vecchio. Will they live up to their reputation? Your three children, big swimming enthusiasts will be a demanding bunch!

The first leg: The Rondinara beach north of Bonifacio; it has an exceptional rounded shape, like a shellfish whose tips almost seem to touch forming a calm inland sea.
The water is calm, crystal-clear and shallow. The various inlets are separated by small rocks. Behind you, the scrubland is dense and wild. Up ahead, there is a vast stretch of turquoise blue…the entire family lets out just one single word: Wow!

You have difficulty getting the kids out of the water to continue your day’s exploration! Head to the Santa Giulia beach in Porto Vecchio, UNESCO-listed as one of the loveliest beaches in the world.
On arrival, you’re blown away by this sublime lagoon with turquoise crystal-clear waters running alongside the white sands! The children put on some sunscreen and rush for the water! Meanwhile, you find a table hidden in the shade of umbrella pines, for lunch as a family admiring this piece of paradise.

You walk along the bay by the water, a hat on, while the children try water sports; waterskiing for the eldest and paddleboarding for the two youngsters. You hear them burst out laughing…

The last stop: Palombaggia with white sandy beaches, surrounded by red or grey rocks with umbrella pines running alongside… You walk by the water’s edge, from heavely creek to heavenly creek: I Pini, Cala di Lume, Tamaricciu, La Folaca… Set down your towel on the warm sand, close your eyes… Can you smell the scent of the scrubland? Lavander, rosemary, broom…be greatly inspired and open your eyes, can you see the Îles Cerbicales archipelago right opposite the beach?
